Crochet Me Crazy

We went to town yesterday in search of supplies. We're slowly making adjustment to the camper to get it more comfortable. Living in an RV is kinda like living in a giant jig-saw puzzle. Everything has to have a place. We bought some hooks and Jeff hung them up for my potholders and we put a big set of hooks up in the hall for coats, etc. Jeff is going to add some fold-down counter space to my kitchen and a back-splash board behind the sink with a little shelf and more hooks for hanging things. Adding that counter space will be a big help! Also, he's going to build the dogs a new multi-use cage that will also double as a step-stool for me to get to the higher cabinets in the kitchen. We also bought 2 TV trays.

We also went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and I bought my yarn I need to start the baby blanket. I sat down last night and crocheted for the first time in what seems like forever! It felt really good.

Jeff had two phone interviews last week. The 2nd one we are really, really praying is the one he gets. Please pray he gets that job! We are so tired of this!

Ha! Ha! I'm pretty good at adjusting and dealing with MOST things but this week has been a big learning curve so far. I can't find anything and I can't remember where I put it in this RV...then, I've been moving things to get things right and then I can't find it again. I'm still tripping over stuff right now until I get it all figured out. It makes it a lot harder because of the weather and nothing can be outside. The fact that it snowed today ... in FEBRUARY.... in SOUTH TEXAS...doesn't help either. Geeze...enough with the snow already! I liked Texas the way it was...HOT! LOL... Anyway, we'll get it all worked out I know but in the meantime, my name is Lerlean and my husband's name is Earl.

I don't think I'm going to be starting back to crocheting just yet. I do need to though so I can get that baby gift done.

It has been quite a whirl-wind since Friday and this is actually the first time I've had a chance to sit down on my computer. We just got home late last night from a little trip. We plan to use today to get things more organized and settled here at the RV. I think we picked a good RV park. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen! I would say it looks and feels every bit as clean as home...I was amazed! There was another pleasant surprise...they have a piano in the common area! Alison has a place to practice piano while we're here!

I packed up ALL of the yarn I had left in the house to get ready for the move. It's pretty funny...I debated on whether I should get rid of any..... Nah. There's very few things I really love and yarn is definately my weekness....and yes, I WILL use it! The nice this is that I was able to get it all sorted out and packed up accordingly. Plain worsted weight yarn, specialty yarns, fuzzy yarn, Simply Soft, etc.



I found one lonely ball of this yarn that I kept out to make a hat out of and I ran out of it before the hat was finished! I can add the last few rows another time I guess but what was the last ball of yarn in my house....



I will be back to crocheting in about a month!
