Well, Alison's ballet class is working really hard to get ready for the big show on the 21st! Today they got to try on their costumes. Alison is a fairy.
Well, I am still making a few snowflakes because they are a quick and easy thing to do but I have started another project.
When we were in Houston, I bought a cross stitch kit while we were at Hobby Lobby!
I've started on it but I think I'm too blind to do cross stitch. I have a hard time seeing that chart and the stitches I'm trying to do. I don't enjoy it half as much as crocheting!
We colored eggs at the stables today.
I looked tired because those darn neighbors were at it again last night. I can't believe they actually brought their own "stripper pole"...yes, you read that right. Anyway, thank God they all left today so it's back to reasonable peace and quiet around here.
Here's a picture of Alison's surprise!
A mug with pictures of her and Princess all over it. We only have 3 coffee mugs and she was wanting one to drink out of when she wants coffee on the early mornings so I knew she would love this
Here's the next snowflake....

Snowflake 1
Labels: snowflakes 0 commentsMy computer was doing something funny all day yesterday and I couldn't use it and we didn't have cell phone service all day either. I STILL don't have cell phone today! The cell phone tower is supposedly down or something.
So anyway, I got one snowflake starched.
I have some more pinned and ready to starch...

Busy, Busy, Busy
Labels: snowflakes 1 commentsI'm staying busy with the usual routine of homeschooling, visiting my mom in the assisted living, Alison's dance, etc. All I have to show crochet-wise is these snowflakes ~
I've made a few others but they are on the starching board right now. I plan on putting these on a wreath.

Michael's Keys
Labels: Michael's Projects, snowflakes 0 commentsMy son has been feverishly making these keys out of cardboard and duct tape for the past two days. They are playing a game with his a huge box house he put together...actually, I think its a jail. It's in our garage right now but will be moving out to the yard shortly! The weather was rainy so he had to move it inside. We picked up some large freezer boxes from a new ice cream store that just opened up down the street. Give kids a bunch of boxes and some duct tape and you'll have them entertained for weeks!!

I have another couple of thread projects starched and blocked....

Labels: snowflakes 0 commentsHere is a picture of a snowflake I made today. It is pinned because I am blocking and starching it. Those little boogers are tough to block!
Thread Snowflake
I have decided to move my photo albums to Sony's Image Station. I was having trouble with myphotoalbum.com. The photos wouldn't upload to the right location and then I couldn't get them to move. It also took a really long time to upload the photos. The verdict is still out on Sony's Image Station but so far it is much easier to work with, in my opinion. They have a drag and drop upload feature which makes loading the pictures much easier. The only two albums I have linked to the new location is my completed crochet projects and my crochet square album.
