Bought a digital camera...
0 commentsI will be able to make some progress posting some pictures now that we finally bought a digital camera. I lost my other camera so it was time to buy a new one. A digital camera has been on my wish list for several years now and now we finally have one! We also bought a portable 7" DVD player for the kids to use in the truck on trips. Prices on those have really come down since we looked at those. The kids can each plug a pair of ear phones into it. Trips should be smooth sailing now...usually Michael likes to play games on my lap top and Alison wants to watch a DVD. Now she can watch a DVD and he can play games at the same time ... they can watch the same movie together ... or they can even watch different movies with one using the laptop and one using the DVD player. Ahh!....modern technology! My husband jokes that its funny how I'm so frugal with everything...except when it comes to my electronics! LOL! I told him he's still better off than most husbands when it comes to spending money on me. I don't buy expensive clothes, I don't care about jewelry, and I don't want him to waste money on flowers that are going to die. I do lots of shopping at thrift stores. I don't buy electronics very often so when we get them, they are going to get years of use and I want them to last.
Adding links today....

My house is full of kids today, as usual. Seems like I have an endless flow of my kids and all their neighborhood friends running in and out of my house. I suppose I am really thankful that my kids are here instead of running around the neighborhood.
We are going shopping for digital camera's today so hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of my crochet projects soon which is the real reason I have this blog....just a way for me to keep track of what I've done. I'll post some pictures of my sweet little dog and kids, too!
This is my Brand New Blog
0 commentsWelcome to my blog!!
Well, this is my first attempt at this "blogging" experience...should be interesting! I plan on posting pictures of my various crochet projects that I finish and links to where I got the patterns from. I taught myself to crochet in October 2004 and have not stopped since! I have made hats, scarves, doilies, halters, potholders, coasters, bags, Barbie clothes, dishcloths, towel hangers, ...you name it! Right now, I am working on making 12 inch squares which will eventually be turned into a pillowghan, which is an afghan which folds into a pillow. I am also making ninety two 3x3 motifs which will be turned into a vest which is a Christmas gift for my mother in law. I am attempting to crochet all of my Christmas gifts this year.
