Crochet Me Crazy

I will be able to make some progress posting some pictures now that we finally bought a digital camera. I lost my other camera so it was time to buy a new one. A digital camera has been on my wish list for several years now and now we finally have one! We also bought a portable 7" DVD player for the kids to use in the truck on trips. Prices on those have really come down since we looked at those. The kids can each plug a pair of ear phones into it. Trips should be smooth sailing now...usually Michael likes to play games on my lap top and Alison wants to watch a DVD. Now she can watch a DVD and he can play games at the same time ... they can watch the same movie together ... or they can even watch different movies with one using the laptop and one using the DVD player. Ahh!....modern technology! My husband jokes that its funny how I'm so frugal with everything...except when it comes to my electronics! LOL! I told him he's still better off than most husbands when it comes to spending money on me. I don't buy expensive clothes, I don't care about jewelry, and I don't want him to waste money on flowers that are going to die. I do lots of shopping at thrift stores. I don't buy electronics very often so when we get them, they are going to get years of use and I want them to last.
