We spent all day Saturday and Sunday last weekend getting all of the Christmas shopping for the kids done. We are pretty much finished except for stocking stuffers. I make an effort to get the shopping done by Thanksgiving every year. I like to beat the rush and be able to enjoy December doing crafts and fun things with the kids. I love Christmas! It is my favorite holiday.

Here is a picture of another hat and scarf set that I made from Patons Frenzy yarn. This is some more yarn that I got at the dollar store! I love this yarn! :)

Does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington, but they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow.


THE CONSTITUTION

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.


TEN COMMANDMENTS

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse. . . . You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal", "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians -- it creates a hostile work environment for them.

Here is a set that I made using Patons Pebbles Yarn. They have this yarn in the Dollar Tree Stores here! The same yarn sells for $5.99 a ball at my Jo Ann's! I wouldn't pay that much for it because I'm guessing it took me at least 6 or 7 balls just to make this set. I do like this yarn though so I went back an picked up more of it. They have it in a blue and a tan shade as well but the red is my favorite. It is rather bulky so it worked up really quickly.
