Crochet Me Crazy

A very nice thing happened to me today. I was cleaning up around here and found a box of jeans and shorts I had packed up for donation because they were too small for me. I decided to try them on since my clothes have been feeling a bit looser on me lately. Lo-and-behold....all of them fit me easily!! What a nice feeling. I hung them all back up in my closet. That will save me lots of money having to buy jeans this winter! I was on the new anti-depressent for a couple of years which of course they told me doesn't make you gain weight. I was getting fatter and fatter...I went on the Atkins diet which usually makes me drop lots of weight quickly. I lost a meager amount of pounds. I thought it must just be age catching up with me. I've since managed to get off of that Cymbalta crap....which was no easy task! That stuff is extremely addictive! If I missed a dose, it would put me in bed. I was weaned off of it but I continued to have withdrawal symptoms and dissiness for a FULL MONTH after I was completely off of it! Since then I've been eating whatever I want and steadily noticing my clothes getting loser. Apparently, it wasn't age but the medicine that was making me fat! Just thought I'd share... consider how badly you need it before you let your doctor put you on that stuff.
