Crochet Me Crazy

A quick search for "mole cricket" leaves no doubt of the identity of this little beast I was finding. I haven't seen any more of them but no doubt since Spring is their mating season, that is why I was seeing them in my house. It also solves a separate mystery of finger size holes I was finding in the dirt between my neighbors house and mine. I suspect they are coming from my neighbor's yard because his normally beautiful grass is dying and thin this year. My grass looks great on the other side of my house. We'll be going out today to get something to treat our lawn with. I think we have caught them fast enough to be able to take care of it before they have really taken over. My lawn isn't dying yet but I now have some news to share with my neighbor when they get back in town of why his lawn is dying! So....thank you Kathy for your response or I might not have figured out what this bug was in time to do something about it!! :)
