Crochet Me Crazy

I think I forgot to mention that the people who were buying our house backed out on the deal during the 10 day option period. So now most of the things I wouldn't have probably packed up are in storage and I'm still living here! Oh well, its just as well because they backed out the day before my mother passed away and I don't think I could have stood the pressure both at the same time.

Today I picked up my crochet hook for the first time since my mother's passing. We had a full day today. I took Alison to a tween homeschool meeting and a Friendship Feast day with the homeschooling group. I was freezing my hiney off out there at the park but Alison had fun. She's happy this week because its turning out to be such a great week for her.



We watched my great nephew today as well. That's when I picked up my crochet hook and started making him a little hat since the weather is cold. Little Jeremy is such a delight. He's at such a fun and cute age - TWO! I don't know why they call it the terrible two's. i think they are so fun at that age. We don't have toys since everything is in storage but one thing we DO have is BOXES! Lots of BOXES!




My neice took Jeremy out of the day care and I'm going to start watching him for her. He just got out of the hospital with pneumonia for about 5 days! Poor little guys been all hooked up to stuff and cooped up all week. The doctor told her it would be better for him to be in a private home care because he's more suseptible to getting it again now that he has had it.

Tomorrow, Alison and I are heading to Moody Gardens. A good friend from high school called and is staying there on business and invited us to come stay with her. Sounds like a fun break and will be nice to catch up with an old friend. We'll come home Friday.
