Here is the picture of the afghan I was previously planning on making. (It's the white one on the right)
Now, I'm realizing I still don't have enough yarn for the new afghan choice either! The types of afghans are very textured so they use a lot of yarn. Should I go back to the search for a totally different pattern that I don't have to buy more yarn for or wait until I can get back to town to buy more yarn? So witch afghan do you like better? Here is what was my first choice again...

Hi. Well both afghans are great. Now that I have seen the first one I kind of like it better.
But I also like the second one but in a color other than the off white. I was going to do the second one in a beige.
Perhaps you should just make a throw?
Where did you locate the first pattern?

I have that CW issue at home too! I LOVE the new Irish cable pattern. The one you were working on already is nice as well, but the new pattern looks maybe more textured which I like :) I would just get as far as you can on it, then pick up more yarn as you need it. Just bring a snip of that Caron one pound yarn with you when you buy more, because sometimes the cream color isn't consistent and some dye lots are more "yellow" than others. Good luck, hope to see pics soon either way!
