Crochet Me Crazy

Well, today got a bit away from me. I was gone all day today. The girls talked me into taking them to the stables. Turns out there was a tourist trail ride scheduled so they helped with that and then rode around themselves afterward and then took another trail ride on their own. So...I got home just in time to cook dinner. I'm just now sitting down to the computer.

There is a bit of good news though! Jeff talked to the job tonight and they said they are ready to offer him the job if he still wants it! Well, yes he wants it!! He starts on the 16th! This is good...at least we have a date this time instead of some abstract time period like the last job he was "hired" for! So, two more weeks of life as I know it and then everything is going to change drastically! We're all a little spoiled because Jeff has been doing most of the work around here. Job lists are about to be enacted! We're going to make up the daily chore lists for the kids and we'll all switch off on the feeding of the horses in the morning.

We are waiting on the check for the cleaning job. I ended up billing $14 an hour and I'm glad we decided to go up on the price because they didn't bat at eye at it when I sent them the invoice. The check is supposed to be in the mail and then we're going to buy two tired for the car and a battery for the old Tercel. My front tires are bald and I'm trying to avoid driving it too much. Michael can start driving the Tercel after we get a battery.

Pray God, a new season it starting! Yay!
