Puppy Dog Hat
Labels: hats 1 commentsI really haven't been crocheting much. I have really been feeling down and haven't really been able to get into it. I am trying to find some things to inspire me. I've been doing a few crochet flowers for my sister's afghan here and there and I've started on a few things and then ripped them out. I'm made this dog hat over the past two days. A quick and simple burst of completion.....
I had made a sock monkey hat a while back and I want to make another one but I can't find the pattern I used anywhere. I can't find my box of patterns at the moment....I don't know what I did with it when we moved. They may be in the RV but digging through that place is a dreaded dead....
Alison has been wanting to go see the movie Despecable Me 2 so we went and saw the late show after her bible study last night. That's a really cute movie. One thing I love about living out here. We can go see movies without all the expense and hassle of the big city theaters. We can watch a movie for $6.00 a ticket. Of course the theater is nothing fancy but it's good enough for me.
I'm stressing because I have got to get a different car soon. I just feel it. It's still getting me from place to place but it has over 230,000 miles on it and I keep having flats because it wears tires like crazy. I have had 3 flat tires in the past 2 months. It stresses me out because I have to drive around so much. The security of having a car I can trust would make me feel so much better. I'm going to try to find a job somewhere so I can start saving up. I have a little saved up but just working at the stables certainly isn't going to cut it.
Well, Alison is going to try something new -- we are going to an appointment with a modeling agency at the end of the month! I have been told so many times by complete strangers that she looks like a model, we decided to check into it. It's no big deal, really. She's not interested and being a serious model but you can get local jobs for print ads and stuff to make some extra money. She loves clothes and dresses. She can accept or turn down any jobs she's not comfortable with. The only expense will be to have her photos made. So...we'll see what happens with that.

Hi. Love that you made your blog private again.
Your dog hat is cute! Mayby you'll get your crochet mojo back later on, and just need alittle break. I am making sashey scarves and dabbling in afghans too.
Alittle reading too.
It's been a busy summer.
Your daughter would be a good model.
Hope you find a. More reliable car soon. Flat tires suck.
