Baby Blankets on the hook
Labels: baby crochet 0 commentsI finally got some crochet inspiration started .... I'm working on two different baby blankets. I started on an afghan called Heirloom Ruffles from the book Keepsake Baby Afghans by Leisure Arts.
There are a lot of nice patterns in this book....
The one I am making is the one pictured in pink on the book cover below...
What I chose to make depended on what I could make from yarn I had on hand. This afghan is going to be boring to me until I get to the border so I started on another baby afghan.
My work so far....not a great picture...
This afghan is a pattern that I have had sitting around for a very long time thinking I want to make this someday.
It's from the Leisure Arts booklet called Baby's Best...on the cover shown below:
I don't know why this appeals to me to so much. It's a litle plain but it's such an interesting twist on the granny square! I just like it!
This afghan is the one that has really taken my attention and I am taking off with it more so than the other one.
Poor picture but here's a quick shot of my work in progress:
So anyway, that's what I'm up to.
