Crochet Me Crazy

I tell you what, I'm going to think long and hard before I send my computer in for repair again. I got HALF of my power supply cord in the mail this week! ARGH!! Now we have to call them again and get them to send me the rest of my power supply cord so I can actually use my laptop again.

Other than my computer problems, this has been the first week of getting back to normal here at my house. I've been cleaning and trying to get the kids back into the school groove again. My husband got called in for jury duty on Tuesday and he got picked! It was a criminal trial that ended up lasting all week. That was pretty stressful for him in itself. He was elected jury foreman and it was a lot of work trying to finally come to a resolution. They did end up putting the guy away for a very long time. It couldn't have come at a worse time. He was already so backed up at work because of Hurricane Rita.

Crochetwise....
I've been working on my king size afghan project almost exclusively for awhile. A few nights ago I ran out my yarn that I'm using to border and join all my squares with. We didn't have time to get any for several days. Last night I went to get some from Walmart and they were out of my color. I'm going to have to go to a different Walmart today to get it. No worries...I have 3 Walmarts in close vacinity to my house! It has given me to opportunity to do some other crochet projects though! I made a stuffed bunny that the kids love but I don't think it turned out so great. His arms and legs needed to be longer. He looks more like a floppy eared dog to me! LOL! I started on a baby blanket that I'm about 1/2 done with. I'm going to make a bib and maybe some booties and give those as a baby gift.

Alison is very late to starting back to ballet this year but she'll start that next week. We have just been so busy. Her dance instructor sounded a bit alarmed when I called this week. She said she definately needs to get down there. I think Alison will be able to catch on quickly to what she's missed though. Her school is excellent! They have a new building this year.

Well, I'll post picture of my projects and my king sized afghan which I am making very good progress on when I get my laptop back in order. My camera has lots of pictures on it waiting for download!!

One other thing....here's a lady that is going to crochet a couch! This is going to be a fun project to watch the progress on! There not much on there yet but here is the link....
