Annual "daddy date"

Alison and her daddy had their annual Daddy/Daughter date for Alison's birthday last week. Every year for her birthday, they dress up and daddy takes her on a "date" to the restaurant of her choice. They went to Olive Garden and Starbucks for dessert! She looks forward to this! Hopefully, this is help shape her idea of how a man should treat her!
Yesterday was a beautiful day here yesterday. We been having lots and lots of birds in our backyard everyday so we decided to hang a couple of bird feeders in our yard. It's so nice to hear all the birds especially on a beautiful day!

Your daughter is lovely. What a wonderful tradition for your daughter to have. I hope they had a wonderful time.
My dad was my soccer coach & loved to take me to various sporting things. That was always our time, as my sis hated anything athletic.

This is a GREAT idea! A young girl can learn *a lot* about how she *should* be treated by a partner. Congrats on your family's idea.
