I am home today
Labels: afghans 2 commentsWell, Jeff took off this morning to work at the stables. I said I wouldn't post this week but I'm sticking around here today to start cooking for tomorrow. I've made an apple pie and boiled the chicken and the cornbread is baked for the dressing...now, I'm sitting down because I'm tired from standing! I'm about to start mixing up the dressing but I decided to take a break.
Alison brought home 3 friends to spend the night last night....her friend, Phoebe, and the stable owner's two grandkids, Morgan and Serenity. Morgan spent the night in the RV with Michael and the girls slept in the living room on the couch and pallet on the floor. It was a very loud night last night here. They played games and then I had a hard time getting them to be quiet last night while they were watching a movie and trying to settle down. They all had to get up early this morning to go back to the stables. They woke me up before my alarm did this morning!
I thought I would post a picture of the progress on my afghan. I took this picture in a hurry so it's not the best. Making decent progress on the white despite not being able to work on it much for the past couple of days...

That is beautiful so far! I love it! I was recently looking for that pattern as I saw one done on another site. I may try one in the new year if I can decide some colors.
Anxious to see yours finished :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Nancy,
Thank you! I highly recommend it! It's really a great pattern and fun to watch it come together! I think I will make another one!
Happy Thanksgiving!
