Michael's Deer & The Prairie Star
Labels: Michael's Projects 2 commentsI started on the 4th and 5th colors of my Prairie Star and I don't like it. I went to my stash to see if I had something better to use but there is just nothing. I wanted to use a hunter green but I don't have enough of that color in my stash so I just continued with it. Maybe it will look better after I add the next color. I am really enjoying making this afghan though.
First picture is without the flash...
Second picture is with the flash... I still can't get the colors to look right in the pictures...
Michael's taxidermied deer is now on our wall and the pins are removed. He said that he still needs to paint the nose and he's going to gloss the eyes. It still looks great!

Like your star. How about throwing in a black or a varigated color?
Then continue with what colors you are using.
Your son's deer looks very nice.
I am still hoping that something works out for your husband.

Thanks Jean! Well, since I'm having to go with colors I have on hand, I just went with it. I think its looking better now that I've gotten to the white though.
