Crochet Me Crazy

Well, our little Axis deer is still doing good...she's a little spoiled though! She sat outside again today but we brought her in again for the night. She is really quite funny...she doesn't like the dogs. She will nip at them if they get too close so the dogs have learned to leave her alone -- lol!

Today we got our Christmas decorations up except for the Christmas tree! It's a bit over-kill for our little small living room but Alison loves our decorations...and I have a lot! She insisted on finding a place for everything so it looks a little like a "Griswold" Christmas around here. The owner's wife said they wanted to give us a real Christmas tree so I didn't get our fake one out of storage. I'm a little bummed about Christmas though. I really love giving gifts at Christmas and it really is going to be difficult for me not to be able to. It will be the first time ever...even last year we managed a modest Christmas for the kids. I know Christmas isn't about presents but it still brought me a lot of joy to do so. Oh well, you never know...you never know what's in the store...maybe Jeff will get a job and it will change.

I've made some decent progress on a shawl I started. I'll try to get some pictures taken soon.
