My Mesh Boot Cuff Pattern!

Well, I finally got this written down! Hope it's all correct. I'm not much of a pattern writer but here it is!

Lisa's Mesh Boot Cuffs

G Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn
CH 22
Row 1 - Slip stitch in 5th chain from hook, Ch 2, Skip 2 chains, Slip Stitch in next chain, *Ch 3, Skip
next 2 chains, Slip Stitch in next chain, repeat from * across to last 2 chains, Slip stitch in last
chain. Turn
Row 2 - Ch 4, slip stitch in first chain space, ch 3, slip stitch in next space, *Ch 4, slip stitch in
next chain space, repeat from * across, Turn.
I repeat Row 2 for 17 rows. You can do more or less depending on the size you need. This is a very stretchy
mesh so keep that in mind.
Now, that you have the length you need, you'll need to put the two ends together. You'll be crocheting row 1 together with your last row.
Ch 2, Slip Stitch to first loop on row 1, ch2, slip stitch in the first chain loop on the last row, ch 2,
slip stitch to 2nd loop of first row, CH 2, slip stitch into 2nd loop on last row, ch 2, slip stitch to 3rd
loop of first row, now...you will repeat this pattern across to the end, working ch2 and slip stitching
in the next loops alternating between first and last rows. When you have slip stitched into your last
loop ch 2 and slip stitch in to edge of one of the chains on the first row. Fasten off.

Now, you have a super stretchy boot cuff that will fit a variety of people and fit over your jeans~!

Fringe
Row Join with a slip stitch in any space on top of boot cuff. Ch1, Sc in same space, Sc in same space, 2 sc in each space around. Join with slip stitch in beginning sc.

Ch 13, Slip stitch in same sc, * slip stitch in next sc, ch 13, slip stitch in same sc, repeat from * around and join in beginning sc.
Weave your ends in and your done!

My Wiggly Crochet Boot Cuffs Crochet Pattern

I made these boot cuffs up today and I had the wherewithall to go ahead and write the pattern down while I was at it. I really hate writing down patterns so I hope someone likes this!

Crochet Me Crazy's Wiggle Crochet Boot Cuffs

I Hook

Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Hobby Lobby "I Love this Yarn"

Ch 48 - Join in begining ch (careful not to twist your chain)

You can chain any multiple of 3

Row 1 - Sc in each chain around (48)

Row 2 - Ch 2, Dc in back loops of each chain around. At the end of the row DC in same space
as your beginning CH 2, Join in the first DC (This is my method for keep that awkward space
you would otherwise get from joining in a beginning DC) (48)

Row 3 - Ch 1, Sc in back loop in same space and in each back loop of each DC around. Join
in beginning sc (48)

Row 4 - Repeat Row 2

Row 5 - Repeat Row 3

Row 6 - Repeat Row 2

Row 7 - Repeat Row 3

Row 8 - Repeat Row 2

Row 5 - Repeat Row 3

Row 6 - Ch 1, Sc in same stitch, Ch 2, Skip 2 Sc, sc in next sc, repeat this pattern around ending with a ch2
Join in beginning sc

Row 7 - Ch 1, Sc in same stitch, 2 sc in ch 2 space, sc in next sc, repeat this pattern around, joing in
beginning sc

Row 8 - Ch 5, skip 2 sc, *Dc in next sc, ch 2, repeat pattern from * around, join in 3rd ch of beginning
Ch 5

(Variation for Row 8 will make your wiggles more wiggly) - Ch 4, skip 1 sc, *Dc in next sc, ch 1, repeat pattern from * around, join in 3rd ch of beginning
Ch 4

Row 9 - Ch 1, sc in same space, 2 sc in next space, sc in next dc, repeat this pattern around ending with 2 sc in final space, Join in beginning sc

(For the variation, you will simply sc in each chain and space around)

Finish off and weave in ends.

Now you will add your "wiggles"

You will be working around the Posts of the DC from row 8. Turn your boot cuff where the spaces are facing left. Join with a sl st around the post
of DC. Ch 3, work 4 more DC around the same post. Now flip the boot cuff where your spaces are to your right, 5 DC around the post of the next DC. You will
repeat this pattern, working 5 DC around each space, while changing directions with each one. This will create your row of wiggles. Go all the way around your
boot cuff and join in beginning Ch3.

Finish off and weave in ends!

I still haven't gotten around to writing down the pattern for the Mesh Boot Cuffs with Fringe. I'll write it down when I make the next pair.

I have an idea for another pair of boot cuffs using the wiggly crochet method. Depends on how much time I have to concentrate over the next fews day to see if I can get it worked out.

Here are a couple of other pairs of boots cuffs I finished with the links for the free patterns.

Crazy Boot Cuff Lady!

Yup...I've been making boot cuffs! At least four of these Alison is stealing so I have to remake for the sale. Boot cuffs, boot cuffs, boot cuffs...but they are so cute. Wish my camera would get true colors though.

Okay, this pattern above I came up with myself! I wanted something super stretchy and withe the fringe at the top. Alison likes them so it's a keeper! I'm going to try to write the pattern out when I get a chance and I'll share it here on my blog for you.

I also made up another pair tonight and I'm going to write it out too. The possibilities are endless with boot cuffs!

Welp, I have seriously been putting out the crochet projects. I can't even keep up with getting pictures taken. I can't remember what I have taken pictures of and what I haven't. I have made so many pairs of fingerless gloves because I figured maybe they would sell good at the Trade Days. Now, I'm trying to get a bunch of boot cuffs made. I should probably make some hats too but I haven't gotten to those yet. I ran out of room for all my stuff I've made in my little basket so yesterday I tried to get a little organized. I was able to combine two bins of yarn and empty a bin out to start putting the stuff I've made in.

I started on tagging the items but that got boring so I went back to crocheting! LOL! I guess I'll put that off until the last minute!

I'm planning on getting better pictures of the boot cuffs as soon as I can get my model to model for me.

Well, I finished the last pair of slippers for an order I had. It took me longer to make this one pair of loafers than it did to make the other two pair of slippers put together. It's not the original slippers she asked for but I couldn't get the pattern to work for a child size. I needed something that didn't look too feminine because it's a boy. This is what I came up with. I hope they like them!

Still trying out boot cuff patterns. I really like this pattern. It's free here: Fun, Fall Boot Cuffs - B.hooked Crochet I'm most likely going to sew some buttons onto these.

I've got three pairs of fingerless gloves worked up so far. I'm just going to keep making these. They make nice gifts and they sell well. A friend said I could put some crocheted items in a Trade Day booth in November and December. I'm going to put these and boot cuffs in a basket and sell them for $15 each and see how it goes. They won't take up much space in her booth and maybe I can make a few bucks towards Christmas!

I love this fingerless glove pattern. I have used this pattern over and over again. You can find the free pattern here: Two Little C's: Simple Fingerless Gloves Pattern

Finished Projects

I started this hat yesterday and finished it today...

This project has been on my "To-Do" list for some time now! I finally sat down and made this awesome scarf. I just couldn't resist!

Here is a pair of boot cuffs I made. Boot cuffs are a quick little project. I like to get some small projects going while I'm working on something larger like the horse scarf! I need my instant gratification!

This last project I have to show is part of an order for crochet slippers that I received. I have made two of the 3 pairs of slippers that I am supposed to make. The other pair, I still have to weave in ends....trying to get motivated to start on the 3rd pair!

Boot Cuffs

I've been making lots of boot cuffs! My daughter loves boot cuffs! These are really popular this year and make a fun, quick project for instant gratification! There are tons of free patterns for boot cuffs all over the net.

I just love these Canna Lily Crochet Boot Cuff by Dearest Debi Patterns! These work up really fast because of the V-Stitch pattern!

Up next is this Ripple Stitch Boot Cuff Pattern by ELK Studio She has a lot of other free patterns for boot cuffs on her site. There are a few others over there that I'll probably give a try. The bow was my own addition.

I can't seem to locate the pattern that I used to make these two pairs of boot cuffs. These two are the first ones that I made.

Now I've got an order for crochet slippers so I've got to start making slippers!

Here is my completed order for the Cancer Awareness Hats!

Thank you to Crochet N Crafts for the free crochet pattern that I used to make these hats!

Someone sent me this picture and wants me to make it for someone going through chemotherapy.

So as I was looking for a pattern, I found this site with a nice collection of free crochet patterns.

http://crochetncrafts.com

She has a pattern for a hat that I think looks similar. Cross-Over Long DC Hat | CrochetN'Crafts

The lady I'm making the hat for wants two so I guess I'll start on those in the next couple of days if I can round up the yarn!

In the meantime, I've been making boot cuffs. Here's another pair I made. I'm going to sew buttons on them too so they'll look a little more snazzy if I could get Alison to model them with the buttons and wearing boots.

Floral Cami Top

I finished this Floral Cami pattern by Lisa Gonzalez. It's for Alison but Serenity is modeling it for me. I might make another one for Serenity. I have a lot of this same yarn I used on this one. It's a pretty easy one to make and turns out so nice over a tank top. For my own future reference, I used Petra Peria yarn with an F hook for this size. The number of rows in the body to make 9 inches was 15.

Jordon Sleeveless Pineapple Top

Ugh...can you say ugly?? Mine definately doesn't look like the one in the picture! I guess it's just too big.

Okay, well I guess I'll take a break from this pattern and try again later with the right yarn.
