Pretty much finished project

I guess I can't technically called it finished because I still have ends to weave in but hey, I'm lazy okay!

Here is the Little Blossom Blanket being modeled on my daughter's bed. The blanket is actually a twin sized blanket...her bed is a double. It's looks so cute with all the pink in her room. Now, what to do with it? Sell it? Give it? Don't know...I'd have to get $150 for this to sell it. Buying the yarn alone would cost you $80. I had so much fun making it though! Sewing the appliques on was a bit of non-fun work though.

Here's a sneak peek of what I'm working on now....Can you guess?

I have the Pineapple Princess blanket on my hook too and I'm actually getting really close to finishing that one. That one hasn't left my crochet bag except when I'm at my caretaking job.

Well, I've got to run now...I've got a date with a really sweet little old lady. I'm picking up Ms. Janie to take her to watch Alison dance at ballet tonight.

Back from a busy Spring Break at the stables.

I'm working on the border for my blanket. Still have to do rounds of white and darker pink....almost done!

Little Blossom Blanket

Well, I have managed to finish my squares AND tonight I joined them all together! Joining was really quick and easy. I still have to add the border.

Here's the tutorial for how to join the squares. I love this method!

Probably won't have time to finish this week because we'll be working at the stables for Spring Break!

Little Blossom Afghan

Here's the squares I have completed! These are not in the right order...just the ones I've finished....

These are no fun to sew on for sure! The butterfly, the strings on the ballet slippers and the cherry stems were the worst!

Tomorrow I will post a picture of the finished Esquisite Baby Afghan!

I haven't had time to crochet much for the past couple of days but I am having so much fun making this Little Blossom Afghan! I've finished making all of the pink background squares. I started making the white background squares but I couldn't wait to start the appliques so I started on several of those!

These are not sewed onto the background squares yet...I just have them laid out and lots of ends to weave in too. Sewing won't be fun. It's going to be so cute!

I'll take my other finished afghan to my caretaking job with me this next week to weave in the ends.
