Crochet Me Crazy

I am in a crochet slump right now it seems. I have been working on a cabbage patch hat for weeks and I'm just not into it. Haven't finished it! I'm totally uninspired. I made several pairs of booties but those really require no inspiration to make. I had sent a pair of booties to my niece and she told me how much she loves them! She wears them everywhere because they stay on her feet and keep her feet warm. So I'll probably throw a couple more pairs of those in the mail to her. Good to have an actual baby experimentation & know they work so well and aren't just cute!

There are a couple of developments in life to record for myself here....I think I mentioned my son & his wife & boy were living with us. Well, they moved out of Saturday. That's a good thing. I'm glad we were able to help them for a little while. They are moving in the next few days to another town that's about 2 1/2 hours away.

The other news is that they had a sonogram yesterday and found out that the baby is a GIRL! Yup, I'm going to have a grand-daughter. The baby is due on July 2! Boy, does that feel weird to say! I guess I better start browsing my crochet patterns for stuff to make for baby girl! So much easier to crochet for a girl! This should get me out of my slump.....time to start browsing for blanket patterns! :)
