Crochet Me Crazy

I was on a roll by blogging every day but our little trip to San Antonio and Austin this past week messed me up. It was a pretty uneventful trip. It was a good start to trying to get the kids used to getting up a little earlier to start doing school again though. We usually try to be down to breakfast by 8:30 when we're staying in the hotels. I'm going to try to get them to bed earlier and start waking them up a little earlier this week. The public school kids start school this Wednesday. We will probably start the same time if not a few days sooner. I have all the kids books in and ready to go.

I didn't do anything today except be completely lazy. My back has been hurting me the last 2 days and I've felt really tired. I finished the shrug I was working on except for the ties....I ran out of yarn!!! All I needed is enough to do one tie! Can you believe that? I followed this pattern to the "T" this time and I'm still not happy with the results on this. Mine just doesn't look like the pictures of others I see. Oh well...I give up on this pattern.

I finished ALL 34 of my squares for the Blue Squares, Too - Random Square Swap at Crochetville! Since I'm no where done with squares yet because of my King Sized Afghan project...I even made 3 more today. Now, I'm just going to keep on making squares so I may end up swapping different squares than the ones I originally planned before its all over. I still have until Oct 20 so I have LOTS of time! I'll post pictures of what I've done since we've been gone but its too late and I'm just too tired tonight.

We may be headed to Laredo, TX pretty soon. Jeff has to go there on business so we may be turning that into a family camping adventure. That should be fun...I haven't been there yet!
