Crochet Me Crazy

Alison lost her 3rd tooth on Sunday. It was the 2nd of her two front teeth. Her other front tooth is almost in already. They really start to look not so little anymore when those permanent teeth start coming in. It's always so traumatic for her when she loses a tooth. She gets all panicky and hates to see blood! She always waits until they absolutely have to come out before she'll lose it.

I went to Walmart yesterday and bought a skein of just about every "homey" color they had of Caron Simply Soft yarn for my King Sized Afghan project. I love working with that yarn. It's so soft and lays so pretty. I just wish they would come out with more colors! I would use it almost exclusively if they did!

We've started school officially this week so I haven't had time to crochet quite as much as I was. I'm really kinda relieved the neighborhood kids are back in school as well. It's much quieter around my house....we usually have kids knocking on our doors. We started our school on Monday, the day before the public kids did and they kept coming back to see if my kids were done with their school yet. I need to put a sign on the door! It works out good for Alison because she has a list of things to complete everyday that she checks off before she can play. She likes to meet the school bus at 3:30 so she is very motivated to get everything done before then!
