Crochet Me Crazy

Well, it seems like forever since I've been on a computer! I am using my husband's lap top right now. Sending my laptop in for service turned out to be a disaster. After fighting with Hewlitt Packard about them charging me for what was wrong even though its still under warranty, they sent it back to me without my power cord and my cd-rom drive is worse than when I sent it in!
In the meantime, I've been so busy I probably wouldn't have had time to blog anyway! And I haven't had time to CROCHET either!
We took in a Katrina family and they have been with us for the past 2 weeks. The family was a mom, Rhonda, and her 13 year old daughter, Evilyn, her 14 month old baby, Miracle, and her 5 year old son, Bronson. It was great having them but our normal routine was disrupted and the kids weren't really able to get much school work done. Then, we evacuated for Hurricane Rita and took everyone with us. We made a camping trip out of it and camped at Lake Brownwood. We made some good friends there who invited us to their house where we had dinner. They had several children and our kids got along well with each other. Now this is a very shortened version of what has been going on with us the past few weeks. Hopefully, I'll have my computer back soon and things will be back to normal for awhile.
