What we've been up to

We drove to Louiana this past weekend to have Christmas with my husband's family. Jeff's grandma rents a cabin every year at Lake D'Arbonne State Park in Louisiana every year. The cabins here are very nice and affordable. You can sleep quite a few people because the rooms have two sets of bunkbeds.

It's a pretty long drive for us. We got off to a late start, as usual, and had a flat on the way so we didn't get in until about 2:30 am!

Now that we are back, I've been working on getting unpacked, clothes washed, and trying to make room in my house for Christmas gathering. My family Christmas is at our house this year. My house isn't really set up for lots of people so I'm trying to do some arranging to make things as do-able as possible. I finished wrapping the presents. Still have to go to the grocery store.

My daughter had a birthday this week as well so we spent the day taking her and some of her friends to a local play place. We drove around looking at lights that night. The kids are counting down the days until Christmas!!

What next?
